Why setup Out of Office?

- Auto Decline meetings
- Allow team members to know that you are out of the office if they try to book a meeting.
- Auto Decline all events with a custom message.
How to set up out of office in Google Calendar
- From your Google calendar click the Create button on the top left
- Click on “Out of Office”
- Create the event as you normally would with any other event.

- It’s a little tricky to create OOO events for multiple days, especially if one of the days is a partial day.
- If you click on the time check “All Day” you can now choose multiple days
- If you check “All Day” and select multiple days, then uncheck “All Day”, you can then select multiple days and multiple times.

- Decide how you want the calendar to handle invites if you have selected to “Automatically decline meetings”

- Select whether you want to decline
- Only new meeting invitations
- New and existing meetings
- Fill out your auto decline events message.

- Click Save.
