Amazon sales rank, also known as your Best Sellers Rank (BSR), is a numerical representation of how well a product is selling compared to other products in the same category on Amazon. It acts as a measure of sales performance and is constantly fluctuating. The BSR is updated hourly, but the data points can sometimes be a few days old.
The Amazon BSR is based on Amazon sales and is updated hourly to reflect recent and historical sales of every item sold on Amazon. However, it’s important to note that the BSR is a relative number and its significance can change depending on the state of the economy. For example, a BSR of 5,000 in February 2020 may mean something very different from a BSR of 5,000 in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To find the BSR for a product, simply go to the product page and scroll down until you see a section titled “Product Details” or “Product Information”. The BSR will be listed below the product description and above the “Questions and Reviews” section. Along with the BSR, you’ll also find additional information such as the ASIN, customer reviews, and availability.
